ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû²¨¶à

On June 19, 1865, Union soldiers landed in Texas with news that the war was over and the enslaved were emancipated. In recognition of Juneteenth, MXers were encouraged to take the day (observed June 20) as a day of action, education, and reflection. 

For some MXers located in Utah, this meant attending the Salt Lake Juneteenth Celebration. The celebration kicked off with the Beloved Community Juneteenth Celebration Walk, where attendees walked from the Utah State Capitol ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû²¨¶àing to the Salt Lake City & County ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû²¨¶àing.

The celebration continued at The Gateway where the Black-Owned Business Expo featured local businesses, food trucks, and a Black Art Exhibit featuring talented visual artists and musicians. MXers from around the company volunteered their time to man an MX booth. As a booth sponsor, MX is proud to support Black-owned businesses who have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. The community-centered event allowed these business owners to showcase their goods and services while networking with others in the community.
